Hi there, I’m Sara. I’ve been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since May 2025 and bring five years of experience in the mental health field. Before joining Daybreak, I provided individual and group therapy to teens in school and juvenile justice settings. In addition, I have three years of experience working with adults in community mental health settings. Adolescence is often a time of asking big questions like, “Who am I?” and “Where am I going?” I’m passionate about helping teens navigate these important years and build a strong, confident sense of self. It’s incredibly rewarding to witness young people begin to lay the foundation for long-term well-being and success, and I am truly inspired every day by the work that I do. My approach is strengths-based, and I incorporate techniques from dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), narrative therapy, logotherapy and solution-focused therapy. I enjoy working collaboratively with teens and their families to help them reach their goals — whether that means reclaiming their resilience and confidence, healing from trauma, improving relationships, or just feeling better day to day. In my free time, I like to go on hikes, read, do yoga and play with my dog. If you feel like I might be a good fit as your therapist, please reach out. It would be my honor to support you in your journey.
