"Hello, my name is Rebeca! I’m a bilingual (English/Spanish), first-generation Hispanic Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. With over 8 years of direct care experience across diverse populations and settings, I have learned therapy doesn't always have to be serious. In fact, I believe humor can be a powerful tool for healing and always leave room for laughter and lightness in my work. My clinical experience spans community mental health, school-based settings, nonprofit organizations, and private practice. I've worked with children, teens, adults, couples and families facing challenges such as: anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, self-esteem, and family conflicts. As a first-generation Latina, I understand the unique cultural and family dynamics that come with navigating multiple worlds. Whether it is helping bridge language barriers, honoring traditional values, or addressing intergenerational expectations, I meet my clients where they are. My bilingual ability allows me to provide therapy in both English and Spanish, to ensure clients can express themselves freely in a safe environment. When I don't have my therapy hat on, you will find me trying out a new coffee shop, at the movie theaters (most likely watching a scary movie), or enjoying a bowl of ice cream. "
