Community is important to me, I come from a Creole household that basks in cooking and family enjoyment. I was raised to always strive to become a better version of yourself. To understand others and bring value to society. I am a mom of 3, although hard, very rewarding. Everyday I learn and give them my best. I enjoy being creative with my kids, playing games with them and trying new things. A hobby of mine is to make my own lotions and other household items with enticing smells. As an African American Creole woman, i grew up very confused. Never knowing where I fit in or what people thought about me. Making friends has always been a difficult task. Sometimes, people need someone who sees them, who listens, and wants to understand them. Sometimes they don’t know their worth or see their potential. I want a place for young people to feel safe to share and be vulnerable about anything.
