My name is Miya and I'm an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in my second year of practice. I'm also a contemplative practice teacher (I share yoga, meditation, and sound practices), musician, and singer-songwriter. I have a very interdisciplinary background and clinical practice. I’m grateful to be a part of sharing tools and practices that can help us to find our ways, feel belonging, tap into connection and interdependence, and fully inhabit our lives. I am here to support clients in riding the inevitable ups and downs of life. If you are struggling, feeling misunderstood or confused, unsure of how to move forward, I’m here to hold your experience with you, gently and without judgment. I will help you identify your deepest values and support you in finding and seeing your own strengths and capacities. Together, we will tap into your ability to build and sustain active hope, take aligned action, and learn to be yourself.
