I come from a small town in Louisiana and was raised with a big family. I matriculated through the St. John the Baptist Parish school system. As stated, I come from a huge family. My mom had 14 siblings, so family events were always fun. This helped to mold me into a person that loved people...and their experiences. I have always known I wanted to help people, but it became clear in high school. However, in college I got scared and chose to major in computer science. I quickly realized that psychology and counseling was definitely MY thing, LOL. As I went through college, it became more evident that counseling and mental health work is what I wanted to do. I believe this is what I was called to do.
