Megan Garza
University of Wyoming, Master's of Social Work
I’ve been an LCSW for 17 years, inspired by growing up in a family that always had foster children taught me empathy and resilience. Outside of work, I love exploring nature with my four kids—we’re big on rock hunting and fossil finding (they’re dinosaur enthusiasts!). Discovering new animals and adventures together reminds me daily why I’m passionate about helping others grow and adapt through life’s changes. My ideal client is a student struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, or trauma who just wants to feel calm, capable, and understood. With 17 years supporting youth from kindergarten through young adulthood, I meet each student where they are and use practical, compassionate strategies to help them understand their thoughts and behaviors, build coping skills, and move toward confidence and emotional balance.
