I have a deep passion for supporting others as they grow into the versions of themselves they envision. I grew up as a competitive swimmer in a close-knit Islamic family deeply involved in the sport. As a teenager, a back injury ended my swim scholarship path, but strong support from family and school staff redirected me toward mental health work. That experience shaped my commitment to healing and resilience. Today, I remain active, compete in swimming, teach adaptive swim lessons for children with disabilities and trauma, and enjoy nature and the arts. I believe healing begins with being heard—and that meaningful change is always possible with support.
