Hello my name is Isabel Hernandez, I have 12+ years of experience in the mental health field, which most of the time was spent working with teens, young adults, and children with mild to moderate mood and/or behavioral disorders. I have currently 6 years of experience providing individual therapy to individuals and families. My personal hobbies are mostly rooted in art mainly in music and performing arts. I really enjoy attending a ballet or an instrumental concert. I do enjoy the little things in life like taking a walk by a lake or a park with my cup of coffee while looking at my daughters run around. a fun fact about me, is that I do have a sense of humor, and I really like to integrate humor during sessions with my clients as a therapeutic approach. my ideal client I think it would be a younger person who is probably struggling with mild to moderate depression and/or anxiety, who wants to thrive in life and feel better about themselves and reach their own personal goals in life. The way I could help them, is by assisting in them having a shift in their thought processes and emotions, as well as for them to gain a sense of purpose in their life, by utilizing different therapeutical strategies that I have gained throughout my professional career as well as my personal journey.
