With over 20 years of experience as a high school counselor, I specialize in special education and 504 plans, ensuring that students receive the support they need to thrive academically and socially. I hold Master's degrees in Child & Adolescent Counseling, School Counseling, and Education Administration, equipping me with a comprehensive understanding of the educational landscape. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy reading, thrifting, and upcycling fashion, allowing me to express my creativity while being environmentally conscious. I also love cooking, experimenting with new recipes, and sharing meals with my family. As a proud grandmother of eight grandchildren, I cherish the time spent with them, embracing the joy and laughter they bring into my life. Fun Fact: I have a twin brother! My ideal client is a high school student facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, or feelings of isolation. I offer a safe space for them to express their emotions and teach effective coping strategies. My aim is to empower them to overcome obstacles to academic success and personal development. I specialize in supporting students dealing with ADHD, anxiety, OCD, and depression, equipping them with tools to navigate their challenges and thrive.
