Biography D. Marie Hines D. Marie Hines is a member of the American Counseling Association and the North Carolina Counseling Association. She obtained both a bachelor’s in business administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management in 2008, a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis HR Management in 2011 from Stayer University, a Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in 2023 and a Certification to be a Life Coach from the Life Coach Institute in January 2024. Prior to starting her career path in mental health as a therapist, she worked as a Human Resources Manager for over 15 1/2-years in various industries. She has had training at the Mental Health Association in Winston Salem, NC where she co-facilitated anxiety and depression groups from 2020-2021. D. Marie Completed her Practicum at a Health and Wellness Skill Building Center, a community base location in Danville, Virginia where she worked with school age children between the ages of 5-13 . D. Marie looks at the work she does as a love letter to the community to promote a healthy environment for clients to thrive. Her aim is to have a stake in continuous mental wellness going forward by providing affordable mental health counseling services where she is helping to define and resolve client's problems. Being a telehealth practitioner allows her to reach a number of people with mental health challenges that may otherwise opt out of care due to lack of transportation. She is able to meet you right where you are, in the privacy in your own home, office or room. Whatever is most comfortable for you!
