I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who loves supporting children, teens, and families as they navigate life’s challenges. My approach is warm, culturally rooted, and centered on helping young people feel seen and understood. I have experience working with children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds, including those exploring their identity, gender, and sexuality, and I strive to create a safe and affirming space for LGBTQ youth. Parents and caregivers can expect me to partner with them in supporting their child’s growth both at home and at school. Outside of therapy, I enjoy yoga, music, and traveling. A fun fact is that I’m training as a yoga instructor and enjoy weaving mindfulness and movement into both my daily life and my work with children and families. También ofrezco terapia en español y me alegra poder acompañar a familias de diferentes culturas en su camino de sanación. My ideal client is strong and courageous for reaching out for help. They are on their healing journey, and I imagine myself walking beside them as a supporter and guide. I have a passion for working with children, teens, and families who may feel overwhelmed by emotions, school stress, or family changes, and parents who want support in helping their child thrive. Much of my experience has been with survivors of trauma, especially women, children, and families impacted by domestic or sexual violence. I specialize in trauma-focused therapies and often integrate somatic and art-based approaches to support healing. I believe every young person deserves to feel safe, understood, and capable of growth. Through play, creativity, and culturally responsive care, I help children and families build coping skills, strengthen relationships, and discover resilience together.
