Hi! My name is Carly (she/her/hers) and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT). I love spending time in nature, live music, dancing, rollerblading, journaling, art, and being around animals. I have always enjoyed connecting with people, which led to many different experiences over the years: volunteering in a therapeutic preschool, working with 3rd/4th graders in an after-school program, as the activities director in a nursing facility, helping people face their fears at an anxiety clinic, and most recently, doing therapy and social-emotional learning groups with teens and adolescents. Can’t wait to meet you! Do you want support for personal growth and healthy relationships? Therapy can be a great place to get to know yourself more, work on communication skills, understand emotions, or just have somewhere to talk and be listened to. Therapy is YOUR time and space, and I am here to support you along the way, whatever your goals might be. My style as a therapist is nonjudgmental, empathetic, and real. I show up as my imperfect self and invite you to do the same! I like using a wide variety of approaches depending on each unique person, but mainly work within a person-centered, depth psychological, humanistic lens. I offer individual therapy for teens 12-18, and elementary family therapy for ages 5-11 along with a caregiver/guardian throughout the state of California. Specialties: anxiety, depression, relationship dynamics, life transitions, self-esteem
