"Originally from the Rio Grande Valley (Go Vaqueros!), Carlota Raygoza brings resilience and dedication to her work as a counselor. Having put herself through college, her journey shaped her empathy, cultural awareness, and commitment to meeting clients where they are. She earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and her Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the University of Houston–Victoria. She is an LPC-Associate (LPC-A) through 2027. Carlota has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, supporting concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, grief, stress, and life transitions. Her holistic approach focuses on balancing mind, body, and soul while creating a safe, supportive space for growth. Outside of work, she enjoys family time, thrifting, exploring nature, and traveling."
