"Hi! I'm Sophie. As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in California, I enjoy working with children, adolescents and families to support and navigate life transitions, big emotions and difficult moments that life often throws our way. My approach blends evidence-based care with warmth, fun and humor (when appropriate!) because I believe meaningful work in therapy doesn't have to feel heavy all of the time. I have worked in higher levels of psychiatric care including residential treatment and intensive outpatient treatment with children and their families, and I always work to create a space where each client feels safe expressing themselves fully, and parents/caregivers feel supported and empowered. Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy taking my pup, Tyson, on long walks, pilates, travel and spending time with family and friends. "
