Hi my name is Sarah Soberanes, I am an Associate Social Worker. I enjoy traveling, visiting national parks and connecting with nature. I attended Simmons University in Boston Massachusetts. During pandemic I noticed the high amounts of adolescents struggling from being isolated and wanted to do more to help ease their worries. I have worked in the public school systems for over seventeen years and have enjoyed working in helping youth with their mental health challenges. I enjoy working with adolescents from all walks of life. My specialty method of therapy is CBT and DBT it helps teens identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors, while DBT combines CBT with mindfulness to address intense emotions and self-destructive behaviors.
