I come from a Latinx family who have experienced a lot of trauma, which inspired me to study psychology and mental health counseling to help others. I am the first in my family to attend college. My mother taught me Spanish when I was 7, and I am very grateful since that allowed me to help others, such as translating. I strongly believe that we all have an inner child and having fun is not limited to children. Some of my hobbies include playing with my 2 dogs and collecting plushies and dolls.
