My name is Javontae Bradley, I have been working with I/DD and special needs since I graduated college in 2017. I have always wanted to help people and be an assistance to others.Through basketball, chess, and video games, I have built a passion with connecting with others.Through my experience working in the jail system, I learned that we were all one hug or one listening ear away from having our lives changed. I built my confidence in that environment and learned so much from those guys. They inspired me to continue making a change. I am a steady flame in the storm—a strong Black voice that listens, uplifts, and sees you. In play, in story, in truth, we untangle pain and rediscover power.
