I鈥檓 a Licensed Social Worker in Illinois with a deep passion for mental health. Growing up on the South Side of Chicago and attending CPS schools, I saw firsthand the challenges my peers faced with violence, trauma, and limited access to mental health services. These experiences inspired me to pursue a career in mental health, with the goal of bridging the gap in resources, particularly in underserved communities. My mission is to provide quality therapy, break down the stigma around mental health, and create a space where clients feel truly heard and supported. I completed my Master of Social Work at DePaul University and further honed my skills at Loyola University, where I had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients鈥攁dults, children, and adolescents鈥攄ealing with stress, depression, anxiety, trauma, and behavioral issues. I specialize in helping people navigate life transitions and use a mix of therapeutic approaches, including CBT, DBT, Psychotherapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. I also take a strengths-based, holistic approach, supporting clients in building on their strengths while addressing their emotional and physical well-being. I鈥檓 often described as caring, approachable, and understanding. I focus on meeting clients where they are and fostering a safe, supportive environment where they can thrive. Outside of work, I enjoy listening to music, creating art, binge-watching Netflix shows, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with my family鈥攖hings that help me stay grounded and connected to what brings me joy.
