Hello! My name is Louanna Fonnegra. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have a specialization in Latino Family Systems. I am a Native American part of the Navajo tribe. When my parents divorced, my mother and I came to California when I was 5 years old. There were no other natives around like me, so I adopted the Latino culture growing up. My experience includes working with children, adolescents, and young adults. I love working with adolescents! Adolescents are one of the misunderstood age groups and deserve to be heard. I have done community work which includes trauma, domestic violence victims, victims of crime, child protective services, parenting, and immigration. I enjoy "nerding out" with reading: Star Wars and learning piques my interest. I have a degree in fine arts and love painting with oils. I have a love for dogs...I currently have 3! A fun fact I like to share is my father chose my name when he first heard it in the movie Million Years BC in 1966 with actress, Raquel Welch, who played Loana. When I was baptized the priest said it was a savage name and my parents changed the spelling to "Louanna". I am always honored to be part of someone's journey.
