Aloha! My name is Jessica Smith and I go by Jess, and I'm excited to meet you. I am a Bay Area native, born and raised in San Francisco. I attended undergrad in Hawaii and kept the Aloha spirit with me, before moving to San Diego. From camping to spending a relaxing day by the ocean, I enjoy healing through nature, animals and with my dogs. My work extends to those who struggle with, or are a support to someone who struggles with, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and trauma disorders, etc. I believe our overall self-esteem impacts how we engage with ourselves and the world, and by focusing on your self-esteem, we will begin to manage the challenges that impact your daily life. My passion for working with youth and their families extends to supporting the development of a healthy future. I incorporate trauma-informed, strength-based, self-esteem based, and racial justice practices into my work to support developing your authentic self.
